Registrations refer to registering with IABCA to be eligible to receive titles earned at our shows. When you register with us, you'll submit (via online, mail or fax) a registration application with a three generation pedigree. Entries refer to signing up to attend one of our International Dog Shows. You can enter a show without registering with IABCA, although you will have to register within 40 days after the show to keep your title points. This pare will have information on our International Dog Shows and Show Entries.

To the right are links to other pages with more information about how our shows work. Our shows run Saturday and Sunday, with two shows each day, four shows in a weekend. Each show will be under a different judge. Each judge will give each dog a written critique encompassing 12 different parts of a dog's body and movement. If a dog does well (gets the top score each show), an adult dog can earn an International Title in three shows. Puppies have the opportunity to earn a National Puppy Title in three shows; a fourth show would give that puppy an International Puppy Title (four puppy shows = both Nat and Int puppy titles). At the end of each day, after we have completed all the breed judging and all the group judging for both shows, we will present Best in Show for each show, back to back. Group and BIS competitions do no affect title points and missing a group or a BIS will have no effect on title standings and points. Our shows are not competition based. Each dog is judged against the breed standard. More than one dog can receive the top score in each class. More information will be posted soon...

International Dog Shows (also known as Alle Rasse Gruppe, German for All Breed Club) is the Dog Show arm of IABCA. It is a family business that has been operating nationally for twenty years. We put on dog shows all across the US (with some shows in Canada as well). The company is licensed through our parent company, Union Cynologie International (UCI). UCI is a German dog club that has shows throughout Europe, as well as licensed shows in parts of Asia, Mexico, and South America.

International Dog Shows

International Dog Shows (also known as Alle Rasse Gruppe, German for All Breed Club) is the Dog Show arm of IABCA. It is a family business that has been operating nationally for fifteen years. We put on dog shows all across the US (with some shows in Canada as well). The company is licensed through our patent company, UCI. UCI is a German dog club that has shows throughout Europe, as well as licensed shows in parts of Asia, Mexico, and South America.

It is possible to earn an International UCI Title in the United States since the judges travel instead of the dogs.

The International All Breed Canine Association of America (IABCA) began approximately twenty years ago with the intent of making an International "UCI" Championship Title available to the American public while not exposing the dogs to the danger and inconvenience of international travel. To accomplish this, an association was formed with an International Association of dog clubs headquartered in Germany, the Union Cynologie International (UCI). The UCI organization has been in existence for over 30 years. There are many countries, throughout Europe, North America and the Far East, represented in the association, making it a truly International Organization. Through this International Organization (UCI), International Titles are awarded to dogs who meet the requirements.

IABCA shows are held in accordance with the regulations and guidelines that have been established by UCI. These guidelines provide for a WRITTEN CRITIQUE OF EACH DOG ENTERED and a rating number of how well the dog conforms to the International "UCI" breed standard. The International 'UCI' standards are based on the 'country of origin' for each breed, if possible.

ABOUT ALLE RASSE GRUPPE (All Breed Group)

The Alle Rasse Gruppe is the first club (gruppe) formed in the United States under the parent club IABCA. Beginning in the year 1995, all International (UCI) Shows held in the United States will be hosted by clubs sanctioned by IABCA. The shows will be held according to all rules and guidelines of UCI, and IABCA. All registrations of dogs will continue to be made with IABCA. All International Titles will continue to be awarded by the UCI in Germany. IABCA plans to host one or two shows per year, in the United States, all other International UCI Shows will be sanctioned by IABCA and Hosted by the member clubs (Gruppen).
